The Day They Fell

by Moving Through Open Space

/

about

Music is a way to capture a feeling at an exact moment. I recorded "The Day They Fell" on September 11, 2015 so that in years to come as we get further and further away from that tragic day in 2001 I will never forget how it felt to remember. Music can say more than words, so I will leave it to the artform to say the rest.

Thank you to Ben the Illustrator for creating the artwork to commemorate this 20th anniversary. It was a privilege and an honor to have this cross-continental collaboration.

Thank you to Max Deirmenjian for producing the track. It was important that this song from the archives had just the right touch and you delivered.

May we never forget the day they fell. May we always carry those lost with us in our hearts.
